I've been horseback riding with my entire family for more than 30 years on Tobago Island.

Tobago is one of our favorite getaway places for horseback riding. Also, the horses are pretty and always well groomed.

You should consider Looking Out Stables. They offer a choice of 3 rides depending on experience and a 2-hour Hill Ride etc.

Bernard and Kay were really great! They were very helpful in correcting our posture and coaching us up and down the steep hills.

My family and I rode the horses on the beach and along the trails. we had bathing suits underneath our clothing.

We removed our gear as well as the horses. We than swam the horses in the clear beautiful ocean. What a wonderful experience.

Horseback riding is a very fun and exciting way to explore Tobago Kay, local trees, plants and animals and so much more. What my family and I like the most was riding along Turtle Beach watching the lovely sunset. Its just something you'll have to experience for yourself.

The price was reasonable. We paid $75us/$50us. They also included pickup from our hotel. my family and I loved it so much, we'll go back next year.

As for horses, I use to fear horses because of their monsterous size, but once you start riding them, you would say to yourself that was not so bad experience at all and you'll cherish that moment for a lifetime.

You can Contact Bernard at:

Looking Out Stables,
Orange Hill, Tobago

Good Luck!
